Dr. “Bob” Taylor was a member of the Colorado State University Animal Sciences faculty for many years. His work had a great impact on seedstock and commercial cattle producers – as well as the students he influenced. This symposium is offered in his honor every other year to provide the industry with current, research-based information for improving profitability in the beef cattle industry. In 2008, Colorado State University and the Beef Cattle Reproduction Task Force proudly present in Dr. Taylor’s honor the Applied Reproductive Strategies in Beef Cattle conference. Under the direction of the Beef Cattle Reproduction Task Force, a continuing series of programs have been offered since 2003. The programs have been held in several locations across the United States and provide beef industry professionals the most up-to-date information on cattle reproduction management and research-based findings to incorporate technology and information into beef cattle reproduction systems.
