Our Keynote Speakers:
T. Dean Pringle
Dr. Pringle is a meat scientist from the University of Georgia. He is recognized throughout the Western hemisphere for his work in meat quality. His research focus’s on pre-harvest control of carcass composition and meat quality in beef and pork. He has also studied the Beef Cow Audit and has ideas on how ranchers can improve their marketing of cows (= beef) in the future.
Gerald Fry
Gerald has always had an eye on cattle. By age 14, he had learned what to look for in outstanding livestock. He listened to the old-time cattlemen. But like everyone, he dutifully chased the “bigger is better” idea. When he started his own reproductive business however, the doubts began to grow. Fry has learned to examine the hide and bone structure and the cow’s outward appearance to tell him what is happening under the hide.
